AI task identifiers
The AI tool uses browser localStorage, which is different from a cookie, for one entry: framekit-ai-tasks. It contains image and video task identifiers so the interface can restore their status after you reload the page.
The entry is used for task continuity, not advertising. It has no automatic browser expiry and remains until overwritten or removed. It does not contain an API key or the original prompt. Opening the AI page may use a saved identifier to request task information from our backend.
Clearing or blocking storage
Use your browser settings to clear site data or block local storage. Clearing this entry removes the browser recovery information and may prevent an unfinished task from being restored automatically.
Clearing browser data does not delete server-side task records, generated media, provider records or files you have already downloaded. It does not cancel a submitted AI job. Other local GIF tools do not require the AI task-recovery entry.
